Being the only national university hospital and a referral center in southern Taiwan, the Hospital has approximately 1200 beds and 2700 outstanding staffs. Almost 59 percent of attending physicians are qualified as faculties of the College of Medicine. Based on the patient-centered principle, we provide professional, safe and friendly health care services in order to be the best health care center for the public.

Our areas of specialization are joint replacement surgery(small incision, less tissue damage and earlier functional recovery), cardiovascular interventional therapies and surgeries(full range of interventional therapies and surgeries for coronary artery disease, congenital heart diseases, arrhythmias, heart failure and heart transplantation.), craniofacial and plastic surgeries(blephanoplasty, rhinoplasty, face lift, orthognathic surgery, zygoma, mandible angle reduction and other facial bone sculpturing surgeries.), cosmetic laser treatment(Starlux, Gentle YAG, Medline C6, Er-YAG Laser, pulsed dye laser, ruby laser, hyaluronic acid injection, Botox, skin lightening with iontophoresis of L-ascorbic acid, AHA chemical peeling, and hair transplantation), health examination (PET/CT), tumor treatment (IGRT, using state-of-art in-room on-board imaging and cone-beam CT technologies to visualize the treatment tumor three-dimensionally prior to the delivery of radiation beam), assisted reproductive technology(Infertility treatment, IVF-ET, Frozen technique, and Laparoscopy and microsurgery) and other.

           本院係南台灣唯一之國立大學醫學院附設醫院，亦為雲嘉南地區各級醫療院所之後送醫院。現有病床數約1200床，員工人數合計約2700人。且59％之主治醫師具有醫學院教職，人員素質佳。全體員工秉持以「病人為中心」原則為民眾提供專業、安全又親切的健康照護服務，成為民眾最理想的健康照護中心。
